Parent Community Group
MAL PCG: Where families connect
The Parent Community Group (PCG) is a fun, welcoming community of parents and caregivers who want to connect with other families while helping make the Montessori Academy of Lancaster (MAL) an even more vibrant place for our children. Whether you're new to MAL or have been part of the community for years, the PCG is a great way to build friendships, support teachers, and be involved in meaningful but manageable ways.
Throughout the year, we help organize family events, welcome new families, support classrooms, and assist with school initiatives—all while getting to know one another and strengthening the close-knit community that makes MAL so special. We meet about once a month, either in person or virtually, but there's no expectation to attend every meeting or volunteer for everything. Whether you have an hour to spare or want to take on a larger role, every contribution is appreciated, and everyone is welcome.
We can't wait to meet you
Whether you're ready to jump in or simply want to learn more, we'd love to hear from you! Email us at parent.community@montlanc.com to introduce yourself, ask questions, or find a volunteer opportunity that's right for you. You can also learn more about the PCG in the Parent App.
