Box Out Bullying Partnership with the Montessori Academy
The Montessori Academy of Lancaster proudly partners with Box Out Bullying to help build a culture of respect and empathy; however, this work doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Parents and caregivers play an essential role, too. This page is dedicated to helping families access the latest resources, activities, and ideas to bring peace education home and make kindness a daily practice.
Family and Parent Workshop Resources
For ongoing support, Box Out Bullying offers access to a online library of materials created for our Montessori Academy of Lancaster families. The Parent Workshop Resource Page features downloadable guides, discussion prompts, and reflection tools that make it easy for parents to encourage mindfulness and empathy at home.
Resources include:

Kicking Off the School Year with Box Out Bullying Student Assemblies
We love beginning the academic year with a special student assembly presented by Box Out Bullying. These age-appropriate, interactive performances for our lower level elementary, upper level elementary, and middle school classrooms are fantastic in engaging our students through seeing, listening, and doing, so it doesn’t matter if they are an auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learner, they get the most out of the presentation, and sets a positive tone for the year ahead.
Our partnership also features a specialized Montessori School Assembly that aligns perfectly with Montessori principles of grace, courtesy, and peaceful communication.

Classroom Workshops and Social-Emotional Learning Residencies
After the assemblies, Box Out Bullying educators work directly in our classrooms, leading small-group workshops and residencies focused on social emotional learning (SEL). These sessions allow students to practice emotional regulation, empathy, and respectful dialogue in a hands-on way. Teachers and students collaborate to bring SEL principles into daily routines, deepening the Montessori method’s emphasis on independence and reflection.
Parent Workshops
Parents and caregivers are essential partners in helping children grow emotionally strong and confident. Through Interactive Parent Workshops, families receive practical tools to support children through tough emotions, guide communication at home, and model kindness and respect.
