Ways to Support
The Montessori Academy values a culture of giving and participation in community events, volunteerism, and charitable donations. We are extremely grateful for the generous support we have received over the years from families, teachers and staff, and community members. Here are a few ways to join us and keep the mission of the Montessori Academy of Lancaster strong for generations to come.
Volunteering
Our school community thrives on the gifts, talents, and time of our families and we couldn’t do it without you! Every school year there are opportunities to network, connect, and be part of this amazing educational experience. You may jump into a “room parent" role or consider volunteering for specific activities or events like gardening, classroom celebrations, prepping for the annual art show, and so much more. If you are a parent with a child currently attending our school, please visit the Parent App for specific volunteer opportunities.

Business EITC
The Montessori Academy participates in the EITC program with donations from our family-run and other community businesses.
EITC provides scholarship funds for students in our Kindergarten through 6th grade program, supplementing the cost of private school education when meeting qualifications set by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development.
EITC is an opportunity for businesses to allocate portions of their tax dollars to a specific non-profit school or organization. There is no additional cost to the business.
Personal EITC
The Montessori Academy is in the process of selecting an organization to begin accepting personal EITC contributions. Personal EITC works similarly to Business EITC with tax dollars paid by individuals versus businesses. All monies are designated for scholarships.
Lancaster County Extraordinary Give
Each year in November, we are proud to partner with the Lancaster County Extraordinary Give to raise awareness about the importance of Montessori education programs in our community. Families who donate during this county wide event support our special programs, events, and scholarship programs.
